My Experience

Youth in Policing:

As a participant in the Youth in Policing program, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in community engagement initiatives aimed at fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and the public. From organizing events to fundraising for local charities serving the homeless, every moment was a chance to make a meaningful impact. I was able to learn a lot of inside insights of the Durham Police and I had a fun time doing the activities. Through this experience, I learned the importance of empathy, communication, and collaboration in building safer and more connected communities.
